What I Hold Space For

Women's Health, Postpartum Depression & Birth Trauma

Birth does not always create trauma. Sometimes it simply reveals what was already there waiting to be seen.

Pregnancy, birth, and the transition into motherhood are supposed to be joyful. And sometimes they are. But they can also bring grief, fear, loss, and pain that no one warned you about and that you may feel you have no right to feel. Nobody warned you it could feel like this. And nobody told you that what you are feeling makes complete sense.

Whether you are navigating postpartum depression, a traumatic birth experience, pregnancy loss, or the overwhelming emotional complexity of new motherhood, you deserve support that truly understands. Not cliches. Not dismissal. Real, informed, compassionate care that meets you in the full truth of your experience.

You might recognize yourself here if you:

  • ♡Are struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, or rage
  • ♡Experienced a birth that felt frightening, out of control, or traumatic
  • ♡Are grieving a pregnancy loss, whether early or late
  • ♡Feel disconnected from your baby, your body, or your sense of self since becoming a mother
  • ♡Are struggling with the gap between what motherhood was supposed to feel like and what it actually does
  • ♡Had a birth that looked fine on paper but left you feeling shattered inside
  • ♡Sense that the birth surfaced something older and deeper that has never been properly addressed

You are allowed to grieve the experience you deserved but did not get. And you are allowed to heal from it too.
