The Person Behind The Practice

About Chani

"I am a trauma therapist who believes that healing happens through compassion, connection, and the courage to finally be seen."

A Healing Space Built from the Heart

I am Chani, founder of A Wholesome Me. I created this practice for women who have spent so much of their lives holding everything together for everyone else, often while quietly carrying their own pain in silence. This is a space where you can finally exhale, feel truly understood, and begin healing in a way that feels safe and deeply personal.

For more than 15 years I have had the privilege of walking alongside women, teens, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, relationship challenges, and some of life's most painful experiences. What I know to be true is this: healing begins when a person feels genuinely seen, supported, and accepted without judgment.

You are not broken. The ways you have learned to cope, protect yourself, and survive were developed for a reason. Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you understand yourself with greater compassion, reconnect with the parts of you buried beneath stress and pain, and create the conditions for real and lasting change.

You do not have to carry it all alone anymore.

Integrative, Whole-Person Healing

At A Wholesome Me, therapy is tailored to you as a whole person. I draw from Internal Family Systems, somatic therapy, expressive and creative healing, sandtray therapy, energy work, and trauma-informed care to meet you where you are, emotionally, physically, and within your nervous system.

Our work together is collaborative and gentle, guided by genuine human connection. You set the pace. I walk beside you as we make sense of your experiences, untangle patterns that no longer serve you, and help you come home to yourself in a deeper and more meaningful way.

While therapy holds space for difficult emotions, I also believe that healing should include moments of warmth, hope, and relief. You deserve to feel better. And that is entirely possible.

I specialize in complex trauma, dissociation, and the often invisible ways emotional pain shapes a woman's relationship with herself, her body, and her life.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I have spent my career sitting with women who have carried more than anyone should ever have to carry, alone, in silence, and often while still showing up fully for everyone around them.

What moves me, every time, is the moment something begins to shift. When a woman who has spent years feeling unseen finally feels met. When the nervous system that has been braced for impact softens, even just a little. When a part that has been in hiding for decades finally feels safe enough to be known.

That moment is why I do this work.

A Wholesome Me was created to offer women something different. A healing space that is compassionate, integrative, and deeply attuned to the full complexity of who you are. Not just your symptoms. Not just your history. All of you.
